QotD: Do you wear a watch? If you do not anymore, why not?  From time to time as more of a decoration. There's enough places and people with the time and my phone will always remind me. I rarely ever look at a watch when I have it on, anyway. It's more like a bracelet.

QotD: What are you reading right now, and how are you reading it?  I'm reading Dark Run by Mike Brooks on my Kindle app on my phone, tablet or computer.  [I love the syncing thing.]  This is an old fashioned Space Opera in the tradition of Andre Norton and somewhat reminiscent of the...

  • QotD: Cash or Card?

Posted 1 year ago by Grouchy

QotD: Do you still carry cash in your wallet?  No.  I've lost my wallet before.  Replacing all the ID I carried in it was a pain in the ass enough ... the $50 I lost was -at the time - a fortune, and I learned my lesson from that.  I DO carry cash, but in a money clip.

  • QotD: It’s Like Riding A Bike

Posted 1 year ago by Oklahoman

QotD: Who taught you how to ride a bike?   I rode my wagon down the driveway and tumbled over just before entering the street.  I did this over and over and over.  The wagon wore out.   I had a tricycle.  I rode it all day every day I was allowed outside.  I rode and ...

QotD: Do you still carry cash in your wallet?  I carry leftovers.  There is an ATM in the lobby of the building where I work and I use it to get money for an occasional lunch from a food truck since we have three or four a week.  What I don't spend on lunch will find a temporary home...

QotD: do you still carry cash in your wallet?  Not really. New Zealand is largely cashless, which makes us completely ill-equipped when we travel overseas as we expect everyone except the homeless to take cards and do electronic fund transfers. I actually arrived in England on a trip with no c...
