    Vaginal mesh implants, used to ease incontinence and to support organs such as the vagina, uterus, bowel, bladder or urethra which have prolapsed after childbirth, can disable, read the BBC story (follow the link just above). 

    Personally I would be squiffy about having any kind of implant in that area. My sister had a coil that became dislodged and had to be surgically removed.
